Our chair has been installed for a year now and what a lifesaver it is. I can finally go up and down the basement stairs to enjoy our family room and do laundry. The installation was within a few days of ordering and it went extremely smooth. Would highly recommend this family owned company.

We called Slip-Proof Safety to have a handrail installed in the garage and our bathroom completely redone for an aging parent (new flooring, grab bars, walk-in shower, etc). Mary Jane had given an incredibly informative talk at the local library, which was the only reason I had any idea what we needed. Frank, Gina, and everyone who worked on the project was knowledgeable, kind, and cared about doing the job well. This is the best experience I've had with contractors doing work in my home, and I'm very pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

My dad needed assistance getting up and down the stairs and wanted a chair lift. I called many companies. One was a "major brand". The pricing was ridiculous!!! They were also very pushy and insisted on signing right away before they left my parent home. We were very discouraged until I called Slip-Proof Safety and you can tell they were different from the first call. I spoke with Gina and I was able to also text her with any questions I had before the initial meeting at my parents home. Gina came out, reviewed everything with me, my dad and mom. Answered all questions we had, offered great pricing but most of all she had compassion. You can tell she loves what she does and proud of what her family have built over the years. When Gina left my parents home we had an install date and she said theres no deposit and to pay when it's fully installed and when my parents were satisfied. It was basically showing trust in us as the customer, where all others I felt like they were insisting on a signed contract before they left and deposit paid a large. However, Gina was more focused on what we should expect from them in every step of the process and not jamming a contract in our faces for a signatureand deposit. My dad wanted the lifts installed ASAP, we met with Gina on a Friday and they had them installed on the following Tuesday, just a couple days later. The installers were so nice, efficient and did a great job. They even fixed my parents screen door screen on their front door because the bracket that holds the door open was broken. Great people and company to work with. It's hard to find that combination these days. Keep up the great work!

Very cost effective for a refurbished chair lift. Compared to several other companies in the DuPage county area .They were able to come out right away and install very professional. Ask for Sterling or Frank! This will definitely help my mother with her quality of life being able to get out and about.
